What are CME credits?

Continuing Medical Education (CME) is a programme of educational activities to guarantee the maintenance and upgrading of knowledge, skills and competence following completion of postgraduate training.

CME Credits that are collected at the SCR are recognized by most national CME-authorities in Europe.

CME Credits SGR-SSR, SVMTRA-ASTRM & SGNM-SSMN

The official training and continuing education course of the SGR-SSR on June 26, 2021, is accredited with 8 SGR-SSR CME points (Category 1), 8 Log-points SVMTRA-ASTRM and 4 non-specific SGNM-SSMN credits. Please note that it is necessary to attend the 4 sessions to receive the certificate (attendance will be monitored). Certificates will be sent per email a few days after the event.

Each educational and scientific session (webinar) taking place between July 1st and December is accredited with 1 SGR-SSR CME point (Category 1), 1 Log-point SVMTRA-ASTRM and 1 non-specific SGNM-SSMN credit.

CME Radiation proctection course

The Radiation protection course organised by SGR-SSR and SVMTRA-ASTRM corresponds to 2 continuing education units. A specific certificate will be delivered upon effective attendance to the online course.

It is accredited by SGR-SSR with 2 CME points (Category 1), by SVMTRA-ASTRM with 1,5 Log-points and by SGNM-SSMN with 1 non-specific credit.

Certificates for doctors in residency training

Online participation in the SGR-SSR Official Training and Continuing Education Course (June 26, 2021) is equivalent to the traditional onsite participation.

Doctors in residency training attending at least 7 online training sessions (SCR’21 Webinar Series) are entitled to receive a certificate equivalent to the participation in a SGR-SSR congress according to §2.2.2 of the post-graduate training programme. This certificate will be issued and sent per email at the end of the year.

Certificates for doctors in residency training

Doctors in residency training attending at least 7 online training sessions (SCR’21 Webinar Series) are entitled to receive a certificate equivalent to the participation in a SGR-SSR congress according to §2.2.2 of the post-graduate training programme. This certificate will be issued and sent per email at the end of the year.
